information management, workplace reform and change management. Our
consultants have many years of combined experience working in the
information management industry. We come from backgrounds in information
management systems, process analysis and design, strategic planning and
senior project management and education; from within both the private and

Conni
Christensen
Director
Conni has over 15 years experience in the Australian information management industry. She is the Founding Partner and a director of Synercon Management Consulting.
Conni has many years of implementation experience with the major records management software products and her knowledge of the industry and current products in electronic document management and recordkeeping systems is substantial. Prior to forming Synercon in 1998 she spent many years working within the information management software industry.
Conni is the designer and product manager for a.k.a.® records classification and records retention software – a product now used by over 600 customers world wide. a.k.a.® was selected in 2005 by the QLD government for the whole of government development of thesauri and disposition schedules.
Conni is in high demand as a trainer, conference and workshop presenter on records and information management issues.
Eddy
Wilkinson
Director, Senior Consultant
Eddy joined Synercon Management Consulting in 1998 following 20 years
experience in information systems management. In his various roles Eddy
has been involved in team and change management, his area of particular
interest being the dynamics of individuals and workgroups.
As a director and senior consultant with Synercon Management
Consulting, Eddy's main focus is on change management, project
management, and workplace reform.
Eddy worked with the State Rail Authority for 27 years prior to
joining Synercon. His roles there included those of CityRail Service
Quality Manager, Executive Officer, Line Manager, Business Project
Manager, and Senior Project Manager Job & Work Redesign, Station Staff
Empowerment and many other projects.
Amanda Harris
Principal Consultant, Canberra
Amanda
has extensive experience of the records management industry within
Commonwealth and State government agencies.
During her time with Territory Records ACT, Amanda was involved in many projects including the
development of ACT Whole-Of-Government Thesauri and Disposal
Schedules, and Standards for Records Management.
With an Executive Certificate in
Records Management from Edith Cowan University, Amanda has an
in-depth
knowledge of the DIRKS process, and the use of a.k.a.® software in
delivering DIRKS steps B and C.
Amanda is a member of the Australian Society of Archivists and an associate of the
Records Management Association of Australasia.
Shannon
Queree
Senior Consultant, Sydney
Shannon Queree has over 15 years of experience in information management and has worked extensively within the NSW government and education sectors.
Her work includes implementing EDRM systems and creating taxonomies and retention schedules following the DIRKS methodology.
Shannon has an extensive background in education and her focus is on improving the uptake of records management practices through improved education of staff. She is an expert trainer and is a valuable addition to the Synercon consulting team.
Kim
Newey
Senior Consultant, Melbourne
Kim has over 10 years in archives and records management experience.
She has a graduate diploma in archives and records management from
Monash University and in 1991 won the Australian Society of Archivists
Outstanding Student Award.
While based in Canberra, Kim has been extensively involved in the
DIRKS process over more than 2 years working with Australian Government
Solicitor, the federal Court and Australian Tourist Commission.
Helena Lovegrove
Consultant
Since completing her Graduate Diploma in Applied Science (Library and
Information Management) two years ago, Helena has been employed by
Synercon working on a wide range of
consultancy project for corporate and public organisations. Her clients
include the Office of the Employment Advocate, Zurich Financial
Services, Railcorp, Landcom and the Catholic Education Office of the
Diocese of Broken Bay.
Helena is fully trained in the DIRKS methodology. She has undertaken
a range of projects in developing business classification schemes and
thesauri, records retention and disposal schedules, policies and
procedures to a range of public sector and corporate clients.
She is fully versed in the use of a.k.a.® software and delivers
training courses to a.k.a.® users.
Helena has also been trained in TRIM Context and provides
implementation support to Synercon’s TRIM clients.
Greg Wilkinson
Consultant
Greg as worked for Synercon Management Consulting since 2002. He has worked on a range of consulting projects for corporate and public organisations. In his time working for Synercon he has become fully trained in the use of a.k.a. ® Records Management and a.k.a. ® Disposition Management. He holds a Certificate III in IT (Network Administration).
Greg has also implemented Trim Context 5.2 and Hummingbird DM 5 within Synercon and currently provides technical and licencing support to our a.k.a.® clients.
Alan Koboroff
Senior Analyst Programmer
Alan Koboroff is an experienced Senior Analyst and Programmer with
over 30 years experience in all aspects of applications development,
database design and conversion, project management and systems
integration.
Over the last 15 years, Alan has worked extensively with records
management software systems and has a comprehensive understanding of
records management requirements.
He is in frequent demand to perform records management data
conversions.
Alan works in collaboration with consulting firms such as Synercon
where he brings his complimentary experience and expertise to major
projects.
